With the summer holidays over, all of the Aqua team have been back in the office and enjoying the start of a new season. One of our highlights this autumn is our Protecting Your Financial Future seminar, which is due to take place on the 22nd of October. Protecting Your Financial Future – Free Seminar

In October, Aqua Wealth Management are going to be joining forces with another St Albans based firm, Bretherton Law, to present a free seminar – Protecting Your Financial Future. This seminar will provide an overview of Inheritance Tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, planning for the possibility of care home fees and the use of trusts, long-term financial planning and pensions and investments.

This seminar is aimed at people who want to start preparing for a secure future (it’s never too early) during their retirement years, and also people who have already retired and want to ensure that they are financially secure, and that their assets have the best protection available.

The seminar will be held at Verulam Golf Club on Tuesday the 22nd of October 2019 at 3-5pm with a second session at 7-9pm.

Portfolio Metrix Investment Forum

In the middle of the month, the Aqua team headed into London for the annual Forum of our investment partners, Portfolio Metrix. There were more than 70 attendees from all around the UK and it was good to catch up with some familiar faces. The event was split into two sessions, one for advisers, and one for paraplanners.

It was exciting to hear about the new technology that is on the way, and great to hear that Portfolio Metrix have been nominated for Discretionary Fund Management Group of the Year by Investment Week. We wish them the best of luck.

 

Exam Success

Lastly, we all wanted to offer our congratulations to Aqua employee, Dan, who passed his R05 exam! These exams take lots of preparation, and we were pleased to see that all his hard work paid off.
